Affiliate disclosure
Some “Visit site” links on AppFinder are affiliate, partner or referral links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission. Each one is marked where you click it.
How affiliate links are marked
Under a “Visit site” button that is an affiliate link, you’ll see this line:
Affiliate link · We may earn a commission. It doesn't affect rankings.
- In compact rows, the link is followed by the word “Affiliate”.
- The app’s profile lists it in its “Paid relationships” block: “Visit site” is an affiliate link. We may earn a commission.
- The link is marked
rel="sponsored", so search engines treat it as paid.
The disclosure is always visible text next to the link, on every screen size. It is never only a tooltip or an icon.
They don't affect rankings
Commissions are never an input to organic rankings, search results or AI recommendations. An app with an affiliate link ranks exactly where it would without one.
Who adds them
Affiliate, partner and referral links are AppFinder’s own revenue links, and only our staff can add them. Companies manage their own website, documentation and social links, which earn us nothing.
Paying for a promotion doesn’t create an affiliate link, and having one doesn’t mean the company pays for anything else. Each relationship is listed separately on the profile.
What happens when you click
Outbound links go through a short redirect on AppFinder that counts the click and then sends you to the site. We count clicks in aggregate with a visitor code that changes every day. We don’t store your IP address, and the destination is looked up on our server, so the link can’t be swapped for another site.
